snakes dont here exactly thay feel vibrations threw ther lower jaw and sence thay lay on the botom of ther tank with ther chin on the groung sound in the room can desrupt thim slightly you can set ther tank directly on the tv/stereo but i would place a towel to upzorb sone of the vibration. i hope this helps.
