Hey all, it's Greg from Here's Your Gecko. If you decide to add a crested gecko to your collection, my guess is you'll end up with more! It's tough to own just one!! They are pretty easy to care for. They can be kept at room temperature, ours are kept between 65 degrees at night up to about 76 degrees during the day. Do not overheat these guys, especially the young ones. They will stress quick and die. Feed them Repashy Crested Gecko Diet, it's in powder form and you just add water. Supplement dusted crickets or dubia roaches once or twice every two weeks or so. We feed new CGD every other day. Feed one day, leave it the next day, then mix up new on the following day. When you want to feed bugs, just feed them one day instead of CGD. We use magnetic mushroom feeder ledges in our large enclosures. They work great! Misting is important, once in the morning and once at night. This allows for fluctuating humidity which will aid in shedding, and they also drink water droplets off the plants and such. Fresh water daily! They are arboreal and need lots of things to climb on....vines, branches etc. We keep most of ours in 18x18x24 Exos. Check my pics and you'll see several different varieties of cresties. We handle all of ours, just be ready because they like to hop! After handling for a while they settle down nice, however some are prone to the suicidal jump that comes outta no where so always be cautious...lol. Our website was just updated with new pics of the adults and babies. There are more babies available, we just have to get time to get the photos taken. Check out heresyourgecko.com. You can also follow us on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/heresyourgecko.com and also http://www.iherp.com/heresyourgecko. If any member of SMR purchases a gecko from HYG I'll gladly knock $10.00 of the price! We have some awesome cresties at very competitive prices!
