"Justin and Greg both had great advice -- Def. the gloves part -- Even if you use a hook, if you are UNSURE (and your snake will know whether you are scared or confident; has to do with body language) Wear gloves with the hook and handling until you…"

"Justin is right, using a snake hook will be the best approach for removing your snake from its cage.  My advice would be to wear some thick gloves for a while as well.  When snakes are not handled regularly and they are still fed on a…"

I wish I could see how big your aggressive snake is. Please post some pictures. You can re-tame it. Just expect that it take some time and you will have to be patient. Place a t-shirt that you worn all day inside the cage and leave it. This will help the snake become use to your scent again. Slowly just start petting it inside the enclosure as much as it will let you. If it is small enough, after some time, pick it up controlling the head for a very short time a couple of times a week. Each week hold it a little longer until you have it tamed again.
