Does anyone know how to contact George other than through here?  I have some folks on my FB page (friends with scales) that would like to talk "HOT" with someone...

Thats a big 10-4 on the fangs! Lol whether its the long switch blade like fangs of a crotolus, or the shorter fixed fangs of an elapid, if they sink its bad news!

Alao thanks to both of you for joing the group!

Well - you keep it up...and watch dem fangs.  Guess I am not as brave as I thought I was, but like I have said, if it can bite me, and I am dead in moments - not the creature for me.  I love looking at them though, beautiful creatures :)

Also let me add i dont reccomend tail and hook method on anything under 3ft. I practiced tail and hook with a coach whip, cause its fast, aggressive, likes to bite.......usually, and its non venomous! But im sure there are many other ways of learning these methods which i hope to get others input as well!

Well kinda depends on what kind of cage you have it in, whether its an aquarium, vision, repti-rack. Eithther way though i will open the cage all the way, or in the case of an aquarium take the lid off! I try to use trap boxs but sometimes they want to be stubborn so then i just use the tail and hook method. I dont like using tongs unless i have to, but 99% of the time the tail hook method works.

Was just thinking it would be easier to have something like another enclosure next to the main one - coax the snake into the temp one, close it off then clean the main cage.  Afterwards just open a sliding door to let the it into the main cage....you can use this idea if feasable for you
